Stephen J. Nicoletti, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2013 at Sunrise of Abington in Abington, PA. He was 89. Born in Phila., Stephen grew up in the Tacony section before moving to Bristol, PA. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and served in WWII where he flew 58 combat missions as a flight engineer on a B-26 Bomber. Stephen enjoyed going to his New Jersey shore house in Ventnor City, and taking trips around the world. He also enjoyed watching Philly local sports; especially the Villanova Wildcats basketball team. Stephen was a member of the American Legion, Bristol Moose, St. Ann’s Club, Bucks County Senior Center, and the Terchon Post of VFW. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth of 58 years; and his brother Silvio Nicoletti. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Kathleen Lloyd and her husband Timothy; his 2 grandchildren Christopher Lloyd and his wife Nicole, and Jonathon Lloyd and his wife Jennifer; and his 2 great grandchildren Maggie and Emma. He will also be missed by his 2 sisters Rosemarie Sturm and her husband William, and Jeanette Knorr; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, 6pm-8pm, and Tuesday, 8:30am-9:30am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10am, at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
