Jeanne Baer

Jeanne Ruth (Krapf) Baer passed away on Sat., June 29, 2013, at Wood River Village in Bensalem surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Born in Hazelton, PA, she lived in Altoona, PA, and Binghamton, NY, before moving to Albany, NY, where she met her future husband, Henry. After starting their family in Albany, they moved to Levittown as one of the original residents. She was a long-time member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Levittown. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Cora Krapf; her brother and sister-in-law William and Lorraine Krapf; her sister Ann Krapf; and brother Robert Krapf. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, Henry “Hank” Baer; her children George Baer and his wife Renee of Katy, TX, and Janice Siesser and her husband Louis of Holland, PA; and her brother John Krapf of Havertown. She is survived grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa, and Nicholas; and great grandchildren Conner, Aubyn, Grant, and Collin. She also shared a loving relationship with her niece Diane Place and her family; as well as many other nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service at 2pm on Sat., July 13, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2185 Bristol-Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA. Interment is private at Washington Crossing National Veterans Cemetery.
