Edward W. Hall, age 60, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, at Aria Health-Torresdale Hospital. He was a life-time resident of Levittown and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ed was an employee of Comcast where he worked as a Fleet Coordinator for several facilities. He enjoyed woodworking and watching sports events; especially the Phillies and Eagles. In his earlier years, he played on the Levittown American League and won the state championship in 1965; and later played American Legion Ball. He was a graduate of St. Michael the Archangel School, attended Bishop Egan High School, and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where he played football. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, son, father, "grumpa", brother, and good friend. Ed was preceded in death by his father Edward Hall. He will be greatly missed by his best friend, and love of his life, his wife Linda (nee: Fennell). He is the loving father of Dr. Michael A. Hall PhD, Michele A. Hall Stump and her husband Ryan, and Julian, Anthony, and Dara. He is the devoted son of Josephine (nee: Reca); and is also survived by his grandchildren Jessica and Chase; his brother Bruce Hall and his wife Laura; his sisters Karen O’Brien and her husband Mike; Krista Doran and her husband Rick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wed., 7pm-9pm, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, and Thurs., 8:45am-9:30am, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Pkwy. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:45am. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The family requests donations to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
