Nita Bellesi

Nita Bellesi (nee: Navetta), age 89, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2013 at Lower Bucks Hospital with her family by her side. Born and raised in Bristol, she was a life-time resident, and worked as a secretary and librarian aide for the Bristol School District. She enjoyed summering at the Jersey shore with her family and friends, cooking fabulous Italian meals, and knitting. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and good friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph; her parents; a brother Samuel; and a sister Marion Primmer. She will be greatly missed by her loving daughters Laura Goodreau and her husband Dale, Karen Mitchell and her husband Michael, and Mary Ann Faraci and her husband Joseph. She is the proud grandmother of Jenna, Patricia, Kristen, Joseph, Laura, and Amina; and great grandmother of Amelia and Eulalia. She is also survived by sisters Rose Massi and Josephine Esposito; a brother Nardi (Annette); and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tues., 9:30-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to acknowledge Nita’s wonderful caretakers Andrea Holness and Shawn Jiles.
