Richard Earl Brockway passed away peacefully on Dec. 8, 2012 in his Florida residence among family members and best friend Ingrid Barber Hayes, who were by his bedside. He was 64 years old. He lived in Levittown most of his life, graduating from Bishop Egan High School in 1966 and attended Temple University for 2 years. He enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1969, serving in Berlin Germany as a Voice Interpreter; and was honorably discharged in 1972 receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sharpshooter M16, and the Army Occupational Medal. Richard is survived by his 4 children - daughter Karena Brockway (Bozarth) of Florida; and sons Richard Brockway of Florida, and Keith and Michael Brockway of Langhorne. He is also survived by his mother Helen Brockway (Grimm) of Bristol; his sisters Dianne Brockway of Bristol, Ruthanne Brockway (Kulesza) of Perkasie, and Lorraine Brockway (Norton) of Mt. Holly, NJ. Preceded in death, in 1968, was his younger brother Thomas Brockway; and father Earl Brockway in 1981. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, on Friday, June 14, at 1pm. Interment will follow, with military honors, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA, at 3pm. Arrangements by Galzerano Funeral Home.
