Edward Tamanini Jr.

Edward J. Tamanini Jr. passed away May 23, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62. He was born and raised in Bristol, and has been a resident of Langhorne for many years, until recently when he moved to Levittown. He worked at USX for 17 years after which he owned and operated E.J. Tamanini & Sons Custom Painting business. Edward will be remembered as a fun loving family man who was hard-working. Ed did many things, but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed relaxing at his summer house in North Wildwood, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Anna (nee: Loughran) Tamanini; and his brother Lawrence. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, of 42 years, Betty (nee: Rappo) Ann; his children Lisa Muller and her husband Russ, and Edward III and his wife Marilyn. He was the proud grandfather of "the twins" Steven and Jenna Muller, and Edward IV and Chickie Tamanini. He is also survived by his brother Jack Tamanini; his sisters Dolores Bareuther and her husband Bill, and Rosemary Katherine and her husband Jon; sisters-in-law Vivian and Wendy; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many good friends. Relatives and friends may call Tues., 6:30pm-9pm, and Wed.,9am-10:15am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd., followed by funeral Mass Wed., 11am, at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment in Resurrection Ceme.
