Richard Christian Dick" Toner Sr. passed away on May 21, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 82. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. In 1956, he and his wife moved to the newly area called Levittown and have lived there for 57 years. He was a retiree of Airco,where he worked in the warehouse. After his retirement, he began working at Business Machine Professionals in sales. Dick was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed taking trips with his family to the Wildwoods and Disney World. Dick faithfully followed the beliefs of a Jehovah's Witnesses, and gave freely of his time to the ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Elizabeth Toner; his brother Stephen Jr., son-in-law Derrick Chatman; and recently deceased sister-in-law Doris Wolfe and her husband Ed. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Janet L.(nee: Hasenfus); his children Sharon Chatman, Debbie Beck and her husband Peter, Rick and his wife Jeanie, Bill and his wife Cherie, and Michael and his wife Julie; and his extended family Michael Cosack and Dominic Mormando and their families. He is the proud grandfather of Shiobhan (Jason), Derrick, Richard (Erika), Ryan (Rachel), James, Corey, Brooke, Daniel, Madeline, Arianna, Trent, Trey, Lysette, and Teryn, and proud great grandfather of Ava. He is also survived by his brother Bill and his wife Dot; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to Richard and Doris' viewing Wed., 2pm, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, followed by a memorial talk beginning at 5pm. Interment is private.
