Salvatore Filosi

March 21, 1933 — April 3, 2013

Salvatore A. Filosi Jr., passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013 at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne. He was 80. A life-long resident of Bristol Borough, he was a former employee of Patterson Parchment Co. and a member of St. Ann Athletic Club. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Germany during the Korean War. Mr. Filosi will be remembered as a loving, caring, and generous father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and good friend to all who knew him. He also had a very unique sense of humor and a heart of gold. He and his wife, together, enjoyed traveling abroad. Preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Maria, his son Frank Brown, his loving wife of 47 years, Bernice (nee: Porto), brother Ralph, and sisters Lena, Yolanda, Virginia and Nancy; he will be greatly missed by his children Robert Brown, Bonnie Little and her husband John, Anthony Filosi, and Mark Filosi and his wife Donna. Devoted grandfather of Bryan, John, Jennifer, Andy, Mark Jr., Nicole, and Christopher, and great grandfather of 5; he is also survived by his brother Louis Filosi, a sister Josephine Sieracki, and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sat., 9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Funeral services will begin 11:30am at the funeral home.
