Ronald Phillips

Ronald Wade Phillips Sr., of Croydon, passed away on Mon., March 25, 2013, at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia. He was 69. Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, and a graduate from Germantown High in 1962, he has been a resident of this area for over 40 years. He was an employee of Perotti Plumbing/RHR Mechanical for many years. Previously, he was employed at Tatlow Plumbing in Germantown. Ron was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and the American Legion. He will be greatly missed by his children Angela Marsh and Ronald Jr.; his adoring grandchildren Alyssa and Cole; his sisters Diana Swartz and husband Walter, Louisa Moretti and husband Carl, and Jacqueline Murray and husband Harry; his brother Gordon Reed Phillips Jr. and wife Mary; and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thurs., 11am-12:15pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral services will begin at 12:15pm in the funeral home.
