Pompeii DeFranco

Pompeii J. DeFranco, of Langhorne, PA, passed away on March 26, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84. Born in Pierce, West Virginia, on March 27, 1928, he was a resident of Bristol for many years before moving to Middletown 23 years ago. He was the son of the late Donato and Rosaria DeFranco. He was a graduate of Temple University and Rider College and earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree. Pompeii was a retired math teacher from Bristol High School and Willingboro High School in New Jersey. He is survived by his wife Margaret Dull DeFranco (nee: Villamil). He is survived by his step-children Deborah Phillips (Michael) of Colorado Springs, Margaret Ann Radtke of Langhorne, and Steve B. Dull of Levittown. He is also survived by brothers Antonio DeFranco of Bristol, Fabio DeFranco (Alice) of California, Michael DeFranco (Jean) of Minnesota, Joseph DeFranco (Anna) of Bensalem; a sister Mary Rose Hemp (John) of Bristol; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sat., 9:30am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Funeral services will begin at 11am in the funeral home.
