Kimberly Giampico

July 24, 1960 — February 26, 2013

Kimberly Ann Giampico, age 52, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2013 at Jefferson Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, she was a graduate of Bristol High School, class of 1978, and attended Lockhaven State University. She was always in the healthcare field and worked as a medical technician for various doctor’s offices in many different specialties. In the past, she worked as a dialysis technician for Belmont Court Dialysis, was an EMT for Bucks County Rescue 143, and a fire fighter with Tullytown 33. Most recently, she worked as a dive technician & operator in hyperbaric medicine for Lower Bucks Hospital. She gave her time generously to all who needed her. She also worked for various insurance companies as a photographer who helped with investigations for fire company activities. She enjoyed photography, watching Dallas Cowboy games, spending time walking throughout New Hope, and was an animal lover who will be missed by Spike and Bozko; but most of all she loved the time she spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her father Gregory F. Sr. and her brother Gregory F. Jr. She will be greatly missed by her beloved mother Joan (nee: Volponi); her sisters Ganine Giampico-Lewis and husband Kevin, and Dana Giampico; her companion and best friend Layne Shore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends. Relatives and friends may attend her viewing Sat., 8-10:30am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. A Funeral Mass will begin, 11am, at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007.
