Ceferino Colon, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2013, at Lower Bucks Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, he was a resident of Chicago for many years until moving to Bristol 18 years ago. He was a well-known area carpenter and businessman. Mr. Colon was a proud traditional Hispanic man who loved playing dominos at home, as well as in tournaments; but most of all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Rosendo and Paula Colon; his beloved wife Maria; his son Ceferino Jr.; and his sister Rosa Reyes. He will be sadly missed by his children Reinaldo, Chris, Rosie Torres and her husband Euripides, Maribel Santiago and her husband Jose, David and his wife Miguelina, and Robert and his wife Luz. He is the proud grandfather of Jenny, Mike, Katie, Maria, Joey, Kathy, Chris, Krystal, Melanie, Jessica, and Ricky; and grandfather of 8 adoring great grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers Mario, George, and Israel; 3 sisters Angelina, Anna, and Delia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sat., 2pm-5pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown. Religious services will begin 3:15pm in the funeral home.
