Edward Maurer

Edward L. Maurer, age 37, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2013 at his residence after a lengthy battle with Lupus. Born and raised in the Levittown area, he was graduate of Pennsbury High School. Edward was a former employee of Comcast where he worked as an installer for many years. He was a proud member of the A.P.A. (American Pool Assoc.) and an avid sports fan; who especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox, and Philadelphia 76ers. In his younger years, he played on the Levittown Little League as a pitcher. He will be lovingly remembered as a caring person who deeply loved his fiancée, children, brother and sisters, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Catherine Maurer; and his brother Joseph A. Maurer. He will be sadly missed by his fiancée April Ciambrello; his beloved son Colin; his beloved daughter Adaline Catherine Gray Maurer; his siblings Connie Jones and her husband David, Robert and his wife Deborah, Susan Hartman and her husband Dan, and Beth Klapach and her husband Marc. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday, 9:30am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, followed by a period of remembrance to begin at 10:30am in the funeral home.
