Frederick Post

Frederick C. Post, age 82, of Bristol Township, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 11, 2013. Born on September 12, 1930, in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Henry Post and the late Priscilla (Eisenhower) Post. He retired from U.S. Steel Fairless Works in 1986 and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union. Fred was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of St. Ann Parish. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred (Labonski) Post; and his brothers John and Henry Post. Fred will be missed by his wife of 35 years Ann (Barno) Post; his daughter Laura Mealia and her husband Patrick Mealia Shenandoah; his brother Charles Post; a brother-in-law Wash Barno; a sister-in-law Eleanor Evans; 5 grandchildren Mickey and her husband Rick Hendon, Shea Mealia, Bernadette Mealia, Frederick Mealia, and Bridget Mealia; and 2 great grandchildren Xavier and Nasrin Hendon. All are invited to his Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated on Thurs., January 17, 10am, at St. Ann Church.
