Gregory Jones

Gregory Nelson Jones, age 62, of Levittown, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at his home with his loving wife by his side after a long courageous battle with Crohn’s disease. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Levittown for most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Greg was employed as a licensed and certified airframe and power plant technician for Hortman Aviation, Summit Airlines, and most recently the Naval Air Warfare Center in West Trenton, NJ. Greg was a hardworking man who possessed a keen sense of humor and a strong faith, and used both to endear him to others. He enjoyed aviation, sailing, and electronics; but most of all he loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend Helen Clendening; his older brother Philip Thomas Jones and older sister Madeleine Patricia Jones; as well as a niece Nicole Jones and nephew Eric Jones; several cousins; and a 93 year old aunt Marie Louise Rosenquist. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow at the Washington Crossing Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
