Miguel Guerra, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012, at Langhorne Gardens. He was born and raised in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a retiree of American Motors where he worked as a Parts Manager. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, and generous father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother, and good friend to all who knew him. He loved working on automobiles and showing his family how to fix and maintain their vehicles; but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Angelita Guerra; many of his siblings; and the love of his life Ines (nee: Delgado). He will be sadly missed by his children Patria Saitta and her husband Anthony, Emma Gilger and her husband Walter, and Nibis Aponte and her husband Carlos. He is the loving grandfather of Amarilis, Carlos, Renaldo, Christine, Erin, Michael, Karen, and Paul; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 7pm-9pm, and Friday, 8am-8:45am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown. Funeral Mass will follow 9:30am at St. Francis Cabrini Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
