Fredrick Pirollo

d. October 12, 2012

Fredrick L. Pirollo, age 47, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2012, surrounded by his family and friends. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, he was employed at Abington Hospital as a Mobile Phlebotomist for 14 years. Fred was a member of the St. Ann Athletic Club where he often sang karaoke. He also coached baseball in Bristol Borough for many years; and especially loved coaching his two sons. Fred loved hunting; especially with his close friends where he still holds the title of “top bow” at Shirley Ann Lodge. Fred enjoyed his many “struts” down Pond Street in the Bristol Christmas Parade as Captain of the “Pirollo Mummer’s Brigade.” He was a very special person who was loved by his family, friends, co-workers, and patients. He was predeceased by his parents Larry and Lena Pirollo. He will be greatly missed by his wife Jennifer (nee: Tronser); his children Freddy and Matt; his brothers George (Susan), Anthony (Dorothy), Albert (Stacey), and Robert Pirollo. He is also survived by his brother-in-law George Tronser (Vita); sisters-in-law Cindy Gallagher (Joe), and Nancy Fox; many nieces and nephews; his adopted brother and good friend Mickey Gonzalez (Cathy), and his beloved Chocolate Lab Guinness. The family wishes to acknowledge all their wonderful friends for their outpouring of love and support during Fred’s illness; especially Chuck and Shirley Brady, Gregg and Diane Lalli, Frank Mosco, Steve and Angela Riley, and his niece Theresa who always brought him his favorite hot fudge sundaes. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 6-9pm, and Thursday, 9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol where funeral services will begin at 10:30am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Pirollo Education Fund c/o Jennifer Pirollo at First Federal of Bucks County, 118 Mill Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
