John Perotti

John Perotti, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2012, at his residence. Born and raised in Villa San Lorenzo Flaviano, Italy, he moved to Canada for a short time before moving to this area in 1953. John worked at Perotti Plumbing & Heating until his retirement 25 years ago. He was a former member of the Bensalem Lions Club, and was an active member of Elizabeth Ann Seton choir. John loved cooking, singing, gardening, landscaping, the arts, and the outdoors. He also loved history, and expressed his interest through his restorations of several local historical landmarks. John was a traditional Italian man with old school values who believed in hard work and family, and he loved them both dearly. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rose (nee: Papotto); his sister Giuditta Perotti; and his brother Henry Perotti. He will be greatly missed by his children Giovina Whetstone and husband Dan, John Perotti and wife Liz, Judy Sweeney and Robert Fortier, Rosanna Bouzaidi and husband Mohammed, Rita Notarianni and husband Louis, and Thomas Perotti and wife Lori. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thurs., 7-9pm, and Friday, 8:30-9:45am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bensalem. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
