Robert Winters Sr.

Robert “Bob” G. Winters Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2012, at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Hummelstown, PA, and in 1965 he and his wife moved to Levittown to raise their family. He was a retired Steam Fitter who worked with Local Union 420. Bob enjoyed trips to Lockhaven, PA, where he and his wife owned a cabin in the woods. He loved the time he spent there surrounded by his family. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and good friend to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his magnetic personality, and his genuineness and simplicity. He was preceded in death by his parents “Ray” and Maude Winters; his siblings Charlotte Heffner, Donald, Homer, and Larry. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy (nee: Beadle); his children Robert G. and his wife Donna, Janice Smith and her husband Edward, Glenn and his wife Jan, and Denise Belmonte and her husband Peter. He is the loving grandfather of Pamela, Amy, Brian, Stacie, Dana, Rachael, Jason, Christina, Heather, and David; and great grandfather of 13. He is also survived by his siblings Dale, Ronald, Shirley Wagner, Joyce Sigafoos, and Linda Shutt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, 7-9pm, and Saturday, 9-10:15am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, followed by his religious service, 10:15am, in the funeral home.
