Janet Padgeon

Janet P. Padgeon (nee: Kallas), age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 16, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Phila., and moved with her family at age 5 to the newly formed area of Levittown. She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception School, where she and her family were original parishioners, as well as Bishop Conwell High School. She was a retired LPN who worked at Philadelphia State Hospital. Janet was an avid reader who enjoyed “reading everything she got her hands on.” She was a proud and doting grandmother as well as a loving wife, mother, and good friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Julia Kallas. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 27 years Thomas; her devoted children Lorraine Webb and her husband Kenneth Ray Webb Jr., and Lawrence Joseph Sokolowski Jr. and his wife Melissa Cosgrove. She is the beloved grandmother of Alexandria, Jacob, Michaela, Christian, and Meghan. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wed., 8:30-10am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road. Funeral Mass will begin 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church.
