Jesus Gonzalez

Jesus T. Gonzalez, formerly of Bristol, PA, and Trenton, NJ, surrendered to his Alzheimer disease on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Burlington Woods Nursing Home in Burlington, NJ. He was 82. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, he had been a resident of Bristol Borough for 55 years. He also lived in Florida for approximately 5 years. He was an employee of Kemline, Bristol, PA, Owens Illinois, Croydon, PA, and Parker & Williams, Bristol, PA. He was an avid history buff, and a self-taught TV and radio repairmen for many years to family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Secundino “Adrian” Torres and Rosa Gonzalez; 11 siblings; and his grandson Michael Cerruti. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Carmen M. Gonzalez; and 2 brothers Jaime Torres and Antonio (Herimina) Torres. He will be greatly missed by his children Edith (Jules) Cerruti, Norma (William) Sullivan, Miriam (Angel) Gonzalez, and Carmen (Enrique) DePaz. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Peter, William John, Joseph, Jennifer, Paul Jr., and Enrique Daniel; along with his great grandchildren Peter Jules and Shannon. Also his loving step-grandchildren Dean (Deborah) Sullivan and Dawn (Thomas) Moan; and adoring step-great grandchildren Alyssa, Jenna, Anthony, Gianna, and Brooke. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, 9-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am at St. Mark Church in Bristol. Interment will be held privately.
