Elizabeth Cordisco

d. June 24, 2012

Elizabeth “Betty” Cordisco of Bristol died peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 82. Born in Bristol, PA, Betty was the beloved wife of the late David Cordisco; daughter of the late Augustine & Caroline Marozzi; and sister of the late Augustine “Junior” Marozzi. Betty and Dave built their house in Bristol Twp. and resided there until their deaths. She was an active member of St. Ann Church, The Wood Street Senior Center, St. Mark Church, and the Morning Breakfast Club. Betty loved Bingo and would play it as often as she could. Family and friends were very important to Betty. She would start her day early by attending daily Mass, going to breakfast with her friends, and Bingo in the afternoon at the Senior Center. In the evening, when she wasn’t playing Bingo or out to dinner at The Red Lobster, Betty would make the Levittown-to-Bristol trip to check on her children and grandchildren. Betty is survived by her brothers Louis Marozzi (Shirley) and Joe Marozzi (Jackie); her sister Michelle Sawyer (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Marozzi. She is also survived by her children Cindy Brodsky (Gary), Kathy Roscioli (Perry), Steve Cordisco (Barbara), and David Cordisco (Jill); her grandchildren Justin, Shere, Kenny, Danielle, April, Ryan, Adrianna, Nick, Anthony, Samantha, Kyle, and Brooke; 3 great grandchildren Giavonni, Camryn, and Mia; as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty will be missed by all of her good friends; especially Rose. Now Betty will be met by all of her friends that have gone before her. She would say, “Yoo Hoo, Ann I’m here, put the coffee on.” Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wed., June 27 from 8:30-10:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am, June 27, at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will follow at St. Mark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., 2nd fl., Bethesda, MD 20814. Online condolences at www.galzeranofuneralhome.com.
