Victor Biondino

Victor A. Biondino, age 95, of The Villages in Florida, passed away on June 22, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ossining, New York, the son of Vito & Elizabeth Biondino. In his 20’s, Victor moved to Philadelphia where he resided until he became one of the original Levittown residents in the early 1950’s. He was a retired Crane Operator for U.S. Steel. Victor enjoyed golfing, summers in the mountains, traveling in Italy, and trips to Las Vegas, but most of all he loved cooking his Italian dishes and playing with his grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret K. Biondino (nee: Elschker); and brother of the late Josephine Malaspina and Thomas Biondino. He will be greatly missed by his children Theresa, Joseph (Tina), Patrick (Jenny), and Victor. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his brothers Anthony and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 7-9pm, and Thurs., 10-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral services will begin 11am, Thursday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
