Margaret Buchan

Margaret “Rita” Buchan (nee: McIntosh), age 74, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2012, at Capital Health System in Trenton, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Greenock, Scotland, where she met and married her 1st and only love Andrew Buchan also of Greenock. They married young and started their family. After giving birth to 2 daughters Alison and Linda they moved to Canada and New York before settling down in Levittown where their 3rd daughter Andrea was born. In addition to her husband of 55 years and her 3 daughters and their husbands Carmen, Mike, and John, she is also survived by 4 grandchildren Lindsey, Derrick, Shane, and Olivia. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her extended family and friends to whom she was affectionately known as “Nan” or “Nanny.” She was a gracious and loving woman who won the hearts of all who came to know her. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sat., 9am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, followed by a religious service, 11am, at the funeral home.
