Cora Moore

Cora E. Moore, age 74, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2012, after a lengthy illness, at Voorhees Care & Rehab in Voorhees, NJ. Born and raised in Lanes and Greeleyville, SC, she moved to the Bristol area in 1968 to raise her family. She was a retiree of Columbia Lighting Corp. where she worked as a Team Lead. After retiring, she was employed by North Tec packaging cosmetics. She was a proud, committed member of 2nd Baptist Church, and also enjoyed traveling, dining, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted friend. She was preceded in death by her father Pencile Cooper; her sister Margaret Reid; and her brother Wendell Bright. She will be greatly missed by her children Teressa Moore Griffin and her husband William of Ventnor, NJ, and Lee V. Moore and his wife Lavinnie of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her mother Rose Ella Dukes Bright; and she is the loving grandmother of Cedric, Cory, and Ava; and numerous blended family members throughout New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wed., 9-10:30am, at 2nd Baptist Church (640 Race St., Bristol, PA), followed by her religious service at 10:30am in church.
