John Farmer

John E. Farmer, age 60, of Levittown, PA, and Orlando, FL, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2012, at Statesman Nursing Home surrounded by his loving daughters. He was born in Trenton, NJ, and raised in the Levittown area. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1970 where he was part of the ROTC program. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force. He was currently working with the Rite Aid Corp. located in Bucks County. John was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and the time he spent in Florida. He was an avid NASCAR fan who followed the racing of Mark Martin, and he was also a Phillies fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elsie MacWalters. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Desiree Walterick and her husband Stephen, and Melissa Farmer and her fiancee Artie Andrade. He is the proud grandfather of Stephen, Margaret, Justin, and Alexander. He is also survived by Janet Carpenter (nee: McGowan); 4 brothers Ronald and his wife Robin, Robert, Keith, and Mark and his wife Adrianne; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sat., 1:30pm, at the Galzerano funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, followed by a religious service at 3pm in the funeral home.
