Dorothy Bentley

Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Bentley, age 72, of Langhorne, PA, passed into God’s loving arms on April 13, 2012. She was born in Phoenixville, PA, but was a lifelong resident of Langhorne, PA. She graduated from Neshaminy High School, and went on to receive her Nursing License, and eventually a Physician’s Assistant Degree. Nursing was her life’s passion, and she was still working at Twining Village to help those who needed her up until her passing. Some say she was God’s helper working miracles to those who were ill. To those who were fortunate enough to have known her, Dottie will always be remembered for her immeasurable generosity, unwavering work ethic, un-ending smile, and cute wit. To know her, was to love her. She touched so many lives in such a good way. She enjoyed camping with her family, fishing, boating, crabbing, competitive target shooting, rifle, pistol and archery. She qualified as a PA State Champ for the Olympics in 1972. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her son William J. Bentley; and her grandson William B. Bentley. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years William; her daughters and sons-in-law Susanne and David Ridolfi of Hamilton, NJ, and Kathleen and Keith Burgess of Levittown, PA; her grandchildren Andrew and Brian Ridolfi, Robert, Katelyn, and Cody Burgess, and Lyndsey and Jacob Bentley; and 2 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Wed., 3pm, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, followed by her funeral service to begin 5pm at the funeral home.
