Peter Soto

Peter Soto, age 85, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, he has been a resident of Philadelphia for over 60 years. He was a retired businessman, an accomplished billiard player and loved playing his guitar. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his adored wife Petra Soto. He is survived, and will be greatly, by his children Andrew and Christine Soto of Ellicott City, MD, and Nancy and Richard Shapiro of Bensalem, PA. He will also be missed by his 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving siblings Harry Soto and Ires Figueroa; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, 6-8pm, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough. Friends may also gather on Sat., 9:45am, at St. Ephrem Church in Bensalem to celebrate a 10am funeral Mass. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
