Robert Rago

Robert “Bob” Rago of Jupiter, FL, and formerly Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012. Born December 5, 1936, to the late Peter and Mary (nee: Fierce) Rago, Bob attended West Chester State University where he met his wife of 54 years, Beatrice (nee: Schoenberg). They celebrated their 50th anniversary with friends and family. Bob went on to have a teaching career, and then advanced to guidance counselor and school administrator at the high school level. He earned graduate degrees at both Glassboro State and Temple University in secondary education and school administration. He was an active member of the Lions Club in both Medford Lakes and Jupiter. Most importantly, Bob was devoted to his family and his Catholic faith. His greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dr. Randall P. Rago; and is survived by his three children, Cynthia Lima, Robert Rago, and Ronald Rago. He is also survived by his only sister, Mary Anne (nee: Edward) Lambe. Family and friends are invited to his interment on Friday (Feb. 24), 1:30pm, at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Hwy., Langhorne, PA 19047.
