Anne Marie Holmes

Anne Marie Holmes (nee: Burke), age 66, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2012, at Aria Hospital Bucks Division. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and later moved to Levittown with her husband to raise their family. After raising her children, she began working at Immaculate Conception Church where she worked for the last 20 years as Business Manager. Anne Marie was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who loved the time she spent with her family, and was very proud of the accomplishments of her grandchildren. She was a very determined woman who was very involved in the every day activities of her parish. She enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore, but most of all she was happiest in Walt Disney World with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Anna Burke; a sister Elaine O’Connell; and a brother Harry Burke. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 35 years, James; and her children James and his wife Colleen, John and his wife Angela, Danelle Danemark and her husband Kevin, and Kevin and his wife Jennifer. She is the loving grandmother of John Jr., Justin, Courtney, Rian, Keegan, Ian, Mackenzye, and Kennedy; and great grandmother of Phalen. She is also survived by her sister Claire Smith and her husband James; brothers Joe and his wife Martha, John “Jack” and his wife Barbara, Jim and his wife Nancy, and Buddy and his wife Rose; a brother-in-law Jack O’Connell; a sister-in-law Julie Burke; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 7-9pm, and Friday, 9-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley road, followed by her funeral Mass 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In keeping with her faith and love, the family requests memorial donations be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Rd., Levittown, PA 19057.
