Matilda Sagolla

Matilda “Tillie” Y. Sagolla, age 88, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Twp. Born in Trenton, NJ, to Michael and Mary D’Ambrosio, she was a long-time resident of both Bristol and Levittown. She attended St. Ann School. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Rocco Sagolla of Bristol, PA. Tillie was employed in Bristol at both Steels and Hunters. She dearly loved her last job, working 21 years in Dietary at Lower Bucks Hospital. Tillie enjoyed reading celebrity biographies, going to the casinos, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her family. Her family will always remember her special talent for baking pizzelles and “Tillie Cookies.” She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Louise of Lansdale; brother Vincent “Jim” D’Ambrosio (deceased) and wife Cecilia of Fairless Hills; sister Frances Speck and her husband William Jr. of Newtown; granddaughter Kimberly Bosco and her husband Frank Jr. of Vineland; 2 great grandsons Vincent and Dominic Bosco of Vineland; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wed. from 8:30-10:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Ann Church.
