Buford Pearson

Buford Pearson, age 89, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Sat., Oct. 29, 2011. Born and raised in Franklin, TN, he resided in Kentucky, Connecticut, Virginia, and North Carolina before moving to this area in 2008. Mr. Pearson was a retired Chemical Engineer. He was also Vice President of Alarm Master Alamance Co., North Carolina. After his retirement, Buford was still very energetic and worked delivering newspapers in Danville, VA. He was also an Elder with First Presbyterian Church of Yanceyville, North Carolina. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years Laura Mae (nee: Cain) Pearson; and his son Kendred L. Pearson. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Cynthia Naylor and her husband Dan with whom he resided; his son Edward Samuel Pearson and his wife Janet of Tobaccoville, NC; his 2 adoring grandchildren Diana Clarkson and her husband Steve of Bristol and Daniel Naylor and fiancée Shawna of Aston, PA; his 2 beloved great granddaughters Aubrie and Autumn Clarkson; 1 sister Olyvin Hardison and her husband Harold of Columbia, TN; many in-laws including Rev. Louis B. Cain and his wife Mary Frances; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Sat., 7pm, at First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, 3918 Emilie Road, followed by a gathering of remembrance with family and friends. Interment will follow at a later date in Washington Crossing National Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Galzerano Funeral Home.
