Angelo V. Codispoti “Pop”, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Phila., and moved to the Levittown area to raise his family. He was a U.S. WWII Army veteran and served as a M.P. He was a retiree of B.S.C. in Princeton, NJ, where he was a Plant Manger. Angelo, better known to everyone as Pop, will be sadly missed. Pop will always be remembered for his loving devotion to his family, his sense of humor, his laughter, and his humming; known to us as “the Pop song.” He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 63 years Mary (nee: Montella). He will be greatly missed by his children Barbara Edgerly and her husband Scott, James Codispoti and his wife Patricia, and Mary Codispoti and her friend Kim Guzinski. He is the loving Poppy of JoAnn Edgerly, Donna (Jim) Bickel, Patricia (John) Phinn, Regina (Chris) Brennan, James Codispoti Jr., Sam (Noelle) Codispoti, Leah Codispoti, JenaRae Codispoti; great grandfather of Nicole, Ashley, John, Jessica, Mary, David, Jimmy, Gia, Rylee, Angelo James “A.J.”, and Julianna; and great great granddaughter Lillyjo. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday 6-8pm and Sat. 8-8:50am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, followed by his funeral Mass 9:30am at St. Francis Cabrini Church.
