Marjorie L. Woodring (nee: Vinzant), age 94, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2011. She was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, and in 1961 moved to the Levittown area. She spent her life caring for others and was a former employee of Chandler Hall where she assisted as an Aide. She was a loving mother, and caring and giving grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie or “G.G.” enjoyed eating out at restaurants with her friends and taking trips to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents Stephan and Ester Vinzant; and her husbands Woodrow P. Norman and John Woodring. She will be greatly missed by her loving children Karen Moses of Topeka, KS, and Phillip Norman and his wife Mary of Levittown. She is the devoted grandmother of Dana Norman, Phillip Norman Jr., Tammy Norman, Sandy Moses, Kenneth Moses, and Pamela Woosley. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren including Paige Norman and Cierra Robidoux who she resided with; 4 great great grandchildren; cousins Don Johnson of Topeka, KS, and Ellan Vinzant; and her close friend, for over 50 years, Ester Getz. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday 6pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, where a religious service will begin at 7:30pm in the funeral home, followed by a period of remembrance. Interment will be held in Locustwood Cemetery at a later date.
