Steven Chino

Steven Chino, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2011 at St. Mary Hospital with his dear friend Dennis at his side. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served with the 109 CB’s on Okinawa. After he returned home, he changed his name from Herbert G. Lewis II to Steven Chino. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Helen Lewis; his brother Robert Rex and Helen; his step-mother Marie A. Honer; his sister Georgia H. and James Pennington; and his loving wife Judith Chino. He will be missed by his sisters Marie Virginia Andrews and her husband Charles James of Elizabethtown, PA, and Joyce O. Dieckmann and her husband Robert H. Sr. of Phila., PA. He is also survived by his caregiver Dennis M. Heston and his wife Catherine, and their daughters Dennese, Julie, Eden, and Dana, and Rose Puccio all who made his 3 years enjoyable and memorable. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 6-7pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol Borough. Religious services will begin at 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
