Florence Olds

Florence Irma Olds (nee: Bliss), age 85, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2011, at Statesman Nursing Facility. She was born and raised in White House, NJ. Florence, and her late husband Philip, enjoyed traveling and photography together having a traveling business which would take pictures of school children for portraits. She also worked at the Delaware Valley Bindery in Trenton, NJ; all the while being a stellar representative of Mary Kay Cosmetics. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and collecting all types of owls; but most of all she loved spending time in the Pocono’s with her husband. She was an active and proud member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Eldera Bliss; her brothers Earl, Jr., Howard, and Walter Bliss; and her loving husband Philip Olds. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Darlene Carey and her husband Frank. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law Theresa Parziale and Celia Olds; and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday, 9:30-10:30am, at Faith Baptist Church, 1515 Wistar Rd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030, followed by her religious service at 10:30am.
