Eleanor Gallagher

Eleanor R. Gallagher, age 88, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Bristol Twp. for over 50 years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed vacationing in Aruba, trips to the casino, and doing crossword puzzles; but most of all she loved praying the rosary daily. She is the mother of the late Kevin Gallagher. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 64 years James Gallagher; her children James R. Gallagher and his wife Eileen of Harrisburg and Kathleen Gallagher of Ft. Lauderdale; and her daughter-in-law Karen of Bensalem. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Colleen, Patrick, Michael, Brian, and Kevin. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, 8-9am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral service will begin 9am in the funeral home. Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Veterans Cemetery.
