Macie Childers

Macie D. Childers, age 44, peacefully passed away on August 5, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Philadelphia, and raised in Philadelphia and Newport Ritchie, Florida; and upon returning he moved to Levittown. Macie was an avid Eagles football fan and enjoyed listening and following the Grateful Dead rock group. He will be remembered as a loving son and brother. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Robert; his maternal grandparents Albert and Kathryn Buck and paternal grandparents Mildred and Nicholas Verzicco Sr.; and his two uncles Thomas and Kevin Buck. He will be greatly missed by his loving parents Maryann (nee: Buck) and Nicholas Verzicco; his brother Richard Childers; his sister Lisa Galbraith; his twin nephews Nicholas and Christopher Childers, and niece and nephews Katy, Shawn, and Kevin Galbraith; and many extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 8-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, followed by his funeral Mass, 10am, at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family wishes memorial contributions in his memory be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Rd., Levittown, PA 19057.
