Denise Salerno

Denise Salerno, age 54, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Lower Bucks Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. Denise was an employee of Chambers Group in Langhorne. She was an outgoing friendly person who loved her family and was known as Aunt “Dee Dee.” She loved trips to the casino and her yearly trip to Las Vegas with the girls. She was predeceased by her father William Salerno; and will be greatly missed by her mother Rose (nee: Imperato) with whom she resided; her devoted brother William J. Salerno and Mary Bley; her nephews William Jr. of Houston and Andrew Salerno of Bristol; and niece Elizabeth Salerno of Arlington, VA. She will also be missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and 2nd cousins and their children. She was loved by many friends, especially from grade school and Lafayette Street; and her godson Ralph DiGuiseppe III. She was also loved and cared for by 2 angels, John Hill and Joanne Lucas. Relatives and friends are invited to call this evening from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church in Bristol Borough. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
