William McCall

William Joseph McCall, age 82, of Furlong, PA, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011, at home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he has been a resident of this are for over 30 years. He was a 37 year employee of E.J. Spangler Co. in Philadelphia, and later retired from Blue Chip Co. in Morrisville. Mr. McCall had a passion for flashy cars and horses and loved all kinds of animals and pets. He was predeceased by his oldest daughter Diane Hammond; a daughter-in-law Joy McCall; and a sister Katherine Macwith. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 61 years Alice (nee: Haigh); and his children William Jr. and his wife Kathy of Phila., Harry of Levittown, Michael and his wife Debbie of Warminster, Timothy and his wife Jackie of Fairless Hills, Alice Warner and her husband Tom of Furlong, and Jerry and his wife Loretta of Bensalem. He will also be missed by his 25 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, 9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral service will begin 11:30am in the funeral home.
