Jean McGregor

Jean M. McGregor, age 88, passed away on May 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Trenton and raised in Falls Twp. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, “A Wave”, where she was a maintenance worker on airplanes. It was during this time that she met and married the love of her life, Harry, and together they returned to Levittown to raise their family. They recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, down-to-earth wife, mother, and grandmother. She also was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Zada Carver; her son Gene McGregor; her son-in-law Jeff Conrad; and 2 sisters Florence Ammons and Nita Slack. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Harry; her children Clifford McGregor and his wife Pamela, Joann Conrad, Gloria Boyer and her husband Charles; and her daughter-in-law Kathy McGregor. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, 5-7pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, followed by military honors beginning at 7pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
