Marie Gesualdi

Marie D. Gesualdi (nee: Riccio), age 88, passed away on Feb. 23, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Bristol Borough. She attended St. Ann School as a child, and later worked at various local companies. She was a traditional wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and spending the holidays with her family. Marie will be remembered as a loving, caring person who had “hands of gold.” She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Levittown Senior’s Club, Bristol Senior’s Center, Fairless Hills Senior Club Center, and the St. Ann Sodality Society. She made numerous pilgrimages to the shrines in Canada, and renewed her 25th wedding vowels at St. Ann De Beaupre shrine in Canada. She is the last surviving member of the family of Pasquale & Annuziata Riccio. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Olive. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 64 years Joseph J. Sr.; her children Patricia Harkness and her husband Ronald, and Joseph Jr. and his wife Penny; 8 grandchildren Russell III, Joseph, Michelle Marie, Ronald Jr., Joseph III, Marqessa Marie, Domenica Marie, and Jarrod Elias; 2 great grandchildren Joshua and Miriam; and numerous nieces and nephews; especially Nancy Kabaci. The family would like to thank the Odyssey hospice team, especially Stacey, for the care they showed Mom. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Monday, 10am, at St. Ann Church, Bristol Borough. Burial will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. The family would prefer Mass cards.
