Joseph “Harry” Guerriero, age 88, of Bristol Borough, passed away Wed., February 16, 2011 at Lower Bucks Hospital. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he has been a resident of Bristol Borough for over 50 years. He was a 40-year employee of Rohm & Haas before his retirement over 20 years ago. He was an active member, and past President, of the 5th Ward Italian Mutual Aid. Harry was instrumental in the construction of their swimming pool in 1961. Mr. Guerriero also served as 5th Ward Councilman for almost 20 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 56 years Helen (nee: DiTanna); his loving daughter Jennie Guerriero Hommer; a brother Michael Guerriero; and sister Lena Michalski. He will be greatly missed by his children Alex Guerriero and his wife Joanne, and Joann Sabatini and her husband John all of Levittown, and his daughter Marie Chichilitti with whom be resided. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Tommy (Angela), Joseph (Kristen), David (Lauren), Alexa, Nicole, Jeana, and John; his great grandchildren Jenny, Lauren, Alex, Anthony, Emma, Tommy, and Max; his sisters Phyllis Boucher and Rosemarie Calcese both of Trenton, NJ, a brother Daniel Guerriero of Levittown; a sister-in-law Lucy Csatari of Bristol; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 7-9pm, and Monday, 10:30-11:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 12 noon, at St. Mark Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
