Mary “Eileen” Brennan of Levittown departed this world on Friday, February 11, 2011. Mrs. Brennan lived in Levittown since 1953, where she served as a Democratic Committee Woman in Bristol Twp. She was also a Crossing Guard for Bristol Township, worked in the Tax Office in Doylestown, and was a Tax Collector in Bristol Township until her retirement. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she served on many committees, and was a Eucharistic minister. Born in Pottsville, PA, in 1929, Mrs. Brennan was predeceased by her husband Henry P. Brennan; a son Timothy Brennan; a brother Donald McDonald; and a sister Una Thompson. She leaves behind daughters Ruth Ann Brennan, Patricia Curran, Molly Gardzinski, and Margaret Bowen; and a son Thomas Brennan. In addition, she leaves 17 grandchildren: Troy, Rhianna, James, Jessica, Michael, Christopher, Bonnie, Rebecca, Cameron, Matthew, Shane, Brandon, Leah, Jordan, Ty, Wyatt, and Bella; and 8 great grandchildren: Riley, Zachary, Abigail, Grayson, Charlotte, Daisy, Tyler, and Kyle. She also leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law Joan McDonald; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. A viewing will take place Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 7-9pm and Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. A church service will begin 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by her interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem. The family requests memorial donations be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
