Mary Brennan

Mary “Eileen” Brennan of Levittown departed this world on Friday, February 11, 2011. Mrs. Brennan lived in Levittown since 1953, where she served as a Democratic Committee Woman in Bristol Twp. She was also a Crossing Guard for Bristol Township, worked in the Tax Office in Doylestown, and was a Tax Collector in Bristol Township until her retirement. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she served on many committees, and was a Eucharistic minister. Born in Pottsville, PA, in 1929, Mrs. Brennan was predeceased by her husband Henry P. Brennan; a son Timothy Brennan; a brother Donald McDonald; and a sister Una Thompson. She leaves behind daughters Ruth Ann Brennan, Patricia Curran, Molly Gardzinski, and Margaret Bowen; and a son Thomas Brennan. In addition, she leaves 17 grandchildren: Troy, Rhianna, James, Jessica, Michael, Christopher, Bonnie, Rebecca, Cameron, Matthew, Shane, Brandon, Leah, Jordan, Ty, Wyatt, and Bella; and 8 great grandchildren: Riley, Zachary, Abigail, Grayson, Charlotte, Daisy, Tyler, and Kyle. She also leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law Joan McDonald; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. A viewing will take place Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 7-9pm and Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. A church service will begin 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by her interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
