Henry A. Perotti Sr., age 91, of Bristol Borough, passed away on Valentine’s Day 2011 at Lower Bucks Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in San Lorenzo, Italy, and moved back to Philadelphia for several years before moving to Bristol Borough in 1948. He was founder and former operator of H.A. Perotti Inc. Later, along with his sons, he founded R.H.R. Mechanical, which is still operated by his sons. Mr. Perotti was a WWII Navy veteran, and was a charter member and former President of the Bristol Lion’s Club where he was instrumental in the development and construction of the Bristol Lion’s Park. He was a member of, and past Grand Knight, of the Knights of Columbus Council and awarded the Citizens of the Year Award. He was also a member of Bristol Sons of Italy and St. Ann Athletic Association. Mr. Perotti, a leader in his field, was instrumental in establishing the Lower Bucks County Plumbing Association & Regional Testing Apprentice Program. He was a former member of the Bristol Borough Planning Commission, the Bishop Egan Father’s Club, and a devout parishioner of St. Ann Church. Henry had strong traditional Italian values and cherished his family and friends. He loved traveling throughout the world with his late wife Josephine “Jay” (nee: Amadio), and he also enjoyed spending time at his Florida residence; but most of all he cherished his family, especially sharing family dinners and holidays. Besides his wife Jay, he was predeceased by his oldest son Richard Perotti. He will be greatly missed by his sons Henry and his wife Barbara of Levittown, and Raymond Sr. and his fiancée Yvette Katz of Bristol; his daughter-in-law Kathy Perotti of Langhorne; his grandchildren Mark and his wife Kim and their children Alessandra, Gabriella, and Nicoletta, H. Anthony III and his wife Kelly and their children Brayden and Henry IV, Terri and her husband Mike Antonelli and their children Mason and Lucas, Gina and her husband Dennis Lewanowicz and their children Ricky, Samantha, and Trinity, Raymond Perotti Jr., and Valarie and her husband Ian Haag. He is also survived by his brother John; sister-in-law Mary D’Emidio; several nieces and nephews; and his wonderful caregiver Victoria Kenneth. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, 6-9pm, and Saturday, 8-9:15am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007.
