Charles Smith

Charles L. Smith, age 74, of Bristol, PA, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Twp. Born and raised in Douglas, GA, he has been a resident of this area for the past 48 years. He was a retired construction worker for Local 57 in Philadelphia. Charley was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid fisherman and well-known in his community. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Venus Smith Antoine and her husband Ken, Sherry Smith, and Donna Smith Walker and her husband Tim; his grandchildren Sharron Smith and Steven Smith; and his life-long companion, and mother of his children, Rubie Batts. He was also loved by his 4 brothers; 4 sisters; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 9-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am in the funeral home.
