Vernon Queer

Vernon E. Queer Jr., age 57, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2011 at Windsor House in Marienville, PA. He was born in Sewickley, PA, and raised in the Levittown area. He was a graduate of Wilson High School class of 1972. Vernon was a gifted artist who spent many hours enjoying his craft. He had an appreciation for country western music, and was an admirer and follower of Billy Graham. He will be remembered as a very loving, caring, and gentle soul. He was preceded in death by his father Vernon E. Queer. He will be greatly missed by his mother Dorothy (nee: Stiltenpole) Queer; his brother Jeff Queer Sr.; his nephew Jeff Queer Jr.; and his great nephew Ashton Cope. He is also survived by an Aunt Bessi Uram and Uncle George Queer and Uncle George Stiltenpole; and many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 11am-12:30pm, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. A funeral service will begin 12:30pm in the funeral home.
