Vedella Parmigiani

d. December 13, 2010

Vedella (Mecca) Parmigiani, age 86, of Bristol Twp., passed away peacefully on Mon., December 13, 2010 at Chandler Hall in Newtown surrounded by family and friends. Born April 9, 1924 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Frank and Anna Mecca, and the devoted wife of the late Lawrence Vincent Parmigiani; “Dell” was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who had a way of using her Italian cooking and baking to show her love, and sooth every ill. Dell, in addition to being a consummate homemaker, loved to read and do word search puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Rosemary Parmigiani (Colleen Noone) with whom she resided, and Lynne Coppola (George) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren George Coppolla (Jennifer) of Medina, OH, and Vincent Coppola (Fiancée Kristy); her adoring great grandchildren Tommy and Piper Coppola; and a sister Lucille Brusco of Pittsburgh. She will be remembered as “Aunt Doll” by numerous nieces and nephews. All who knew her, especially her friends at Beelong, will miss her infectious laughter. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, Jan. 7, 6:45pm at St. Ann Church. A memorial Mass will begin at 7pm. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007 or Beelong Adult Day Svcs., 2403 E. Farragut Ave., Bristol, PA 19007.
