Joseph C. Connolly, age 77, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2010, at Aria Healthcare in Falls Twp. Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of Bristol Boro before moving to Levittown where he lived for over 55 years. He was an employee of the former Load Rite Trailers, and later he, along with his children, founded Load-EAZ Trailers in Bensalem and Levittown. Mr. Connolly was a Korean War Veteran who served on the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Intrepid. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Joe was a very organized and private person who loved watching mystery shows on television, surfing the internet, and driving Lincoln Continentals. He was a devout family man who loved spending time with his children and sisters. He was predeceased by a sister Bernadette; and a grandson Matthew Connolly. He will be greatly missed by his children Johanna Taylor (Joseph), Joseph Connolly Jr., and Michael Connolly (Betty) with whom he resided. He was also loved by his sisters Jackie Kucera and Geraldine Goldschmidt (Larry); his devoted grandchildren Joseph, April, Kim and Amanda Connolly, Crystal Ungaretta (Lee), and James and Justin Taylor; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dogs Maddie and Gracie. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, 7-9pm, and Tuesday, 9-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. A funeral service will begin 10am in the funeral home. Interment will be conducted privately.
